PSD2 (Payment Services Directive) is a European directive whose primary aim is to facilitate and improve the security of online payment systems, reinforce customer protection against fraud and promote innovation in payment services through mobile devices and the internet. In Luxembourg, it has been incorporated into the legal system through the Law of 20 July 2018.
