  • Information on technical and safety aspects

Bankinter will not be liable for any damages or losses that may arise from interference, omissions, interruptions, computer viruses, telephone faults or disconnections in the operation of this electronic system that are beyond its control; for delays or blockages in the use of this electronic system caused by faults or overloads on telephone lines or overloads at the Bank's data processing centre, in the internet system and in other electronic systems; or for any damage that may be caused by third parties through unlawful interference beyond the Bank's control.

Bankinter does not accept any liability for the correct receipt of text messages or email. Neither does it guarantee the time or date of their receipt by the Customer's terminal (mobile phone, email client or notification system), as the delivery is made through third parties (telephone operators or the Customer's Internet service provider) and it is impossible for Bankinter to verify that the necessary conditions exist for correct receipt of the messages or emails when it sends them.

Bankinter informs the User that the security, authenticity and integrity of emails sent to their email account cannot be guaranteed, as they are sent in a non-secure communication environment and the integrity of their content cannot, therefore, be guaranteed. If there are any discrepancies between the content of emails received by the User and those saved by Bankinter on its servers as having been sent, the latter shall prevail.
